Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have a type of head and neck cancer that has been confirmed by biopsy and is locally advanced (stage III or IVB, but has not spread to other parts of your body)
- You have had surgery to remove the cancer, and the pathology showed at least one high-risk feature like cancer in the lymph nodes, close or positive margins, or multiple areas of nerve invasion
- You cannot take cisplatin chemotherapy because of age, kidney problems, hearing issues, or other medical reasons
- You are in good overall health (ECOG score 0 or 1) and have adequate blood, kidney, and liver function
- You have tumor tissue available for testing and are willing to provide informed consent
