Who can take part

  • You have had pain under or around your kneecap for more than 4 weeks.
  • Your pain is at least a 3 out of 10 on a scale where 0 is no pain and 10 is the worst pain.
  • You feel pain during at least two of these activities: going up or down stairs, squatting, sitting for a long time, or kneeling.
  • You are between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Your knee pain started gradually, not from a fall or injury.
  • You have not had knee surgery or taken strong anti-inflammatory drugs recently.
