Who can take part

  • You are age 30 to 65
  • Your knee problem is mainly “kneecap-area” osteoarthritis in one or both knees
  • Your knee X-ray/MRI shows mild-to-moderate kneecap cartilage wear (not the most advanced type)
  • Your recent blood tests are okay: hemoglobin above 11 and platelets above 150,000
  • You must have a recent ECG that does not show serious heart rhythm problems
