Comparing brain stimulation treatments for schizophrenia

This study compares two types of brain stimulation (accelerated TBS vs high-frequency TMS) to see if they can improve thinking and memory problems in schizophrenia that hasn't responded to other treatments. You must be on clozapine and have treatment-resistant schizophrenia.

  • You have been diagnosed with schizophrenia that doesn't get better with standard treatments
  • You are between 18 and 60 years old
  • You have been taking the medication clozapine for at least 6 months
  • You are a patient at the AIIMS Bhubaneswar psychiatry clinic
  • You have not had ECT, TMS, or tDCS recently, and you don't have a pacemaker or metal in your body
