Comparing a new muscle relaxant to a standard one during surgery

Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for elective (planned) surgery under general anesthesia.
  • You meet the age and weight (BMI) requirements set by the study doctors.
  • You are in good enough health for surgery based on a standard classification (ASA Physical Status).
  • You are willing to use effective birth control for a certain time if you or your partner could become pregnant.
  • You do not have serious heart, lung, nerve, or muscle conditions, and have not used certain medications recently.
