MRI and blood test to track brain tumor changes

Malignant Glioma

Who can take part

  • You are older than 21.
  • You have been newly diagnosed with a grade 4 malignant glioma (a type of brain tumor).
  • You are able to do most daily activities on your own (a score of 60 or above on the Karnofsky scale).
  • You have not had any other cancer (except minor skin cancer) in the last 5 years.
  • You do not have an iron metabolism disorder (like hemochromatosis) or anything that would prevent an MRI (like certain metal implants or severe claustrophobia).
