Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You have stage III gum disease with deep pockets (5mm or more) that remain after initial treatment.
- You have a bone defect between teeth that is at least 3mm deep and has 2 or 3 walls.
- You are a non-smoker or smoke no more than 10 cigarettes per day.
- You have not taken antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, or birth control pills in the last 3 months.
- You have not had active gum treatment in the last 6 months or gum surgery in the last year.
