  • You are currently in the intensive care unit (ICU)
  • Your doctor expects you to stay in the ICU for more than 24 hours
  • You have an arterial line in place
  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You are not pregnant
  • You do not have any skin changes where the sensor would be placed
