Who can take part

  • You have diabetes-related kidney disease with very low kidney function (eGFR below 15).
  • You need a new fistula (connection between a vein and artery) in your forearm for dialysis.
  • Your vein and artery are large enough for the fistula (vein at least 2 mm, artery at least 1.5 mm).
  • You are willing to follow the treatment plan and visit schedule.
  • You do not have an infection, uncontrolled heart failure, cancer, or low blood pressure that would make fistula creation unsafe.
  • You are not allergic to any of the study components (like human albumin, gentamicin, or anesthetics).
