Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- Your dialysis fistula (AVF or AVG) has been used successfully for at least one dialysis session.
- The narrowing is in the vein that carries blood back from your fistula, or at the connection between your vein and the graft.
- The narrowing is at least 50% blocked and causes symptoms like high pressure during dialysis, low blood flow, or less effective cleaning of your blood.
- The narrowed area is no longer than 60 mm and the vessel is between 4 and 8 mm wide.
- You have not had major surgery in the last 30 days, and you are not pregnant or planning a kidney transplant soon.
