Who can take part
- You have pain in the middle part of your Achilles tendon (between 2 to 6 cm above your heel bone) or where the tendon attaches to your heel bone.
- Your Achilles tendon is tender when touched.
- Activities that put weight on your leg, like walking or standing, make the pain worse.
- You have not had any other injury to your leg bones or joints.
- You have not had surgery on your lower leg in the past year.
- If you had a tendon repair surgery, it was more than 3 months ago.
