Who can take part

  • You must have taken too much paracetamol (Tylenol/acetaminophen).
  • You should not have taken other drugs that can harm the liver with the paracetamol.
  • You cannot have a pre-existing liver condition like hepatitis B or C, autoimmune hepatitis, Wilson's disease, or cirrhosis.
  • You must not have a bleeding disorder that affects liver test results.
  • You cannot have a genetic or metabolic disease that impacts liver function.
  • You must not have a severe infection, shock, or lack of oxygen that affects the liver.
