Who can take part
- You have a new diagnosis of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma that can be removed by surgery and hasn't spread to other parts of the body.
- Your cancer is either HPV-positive stage III (with a large tumor) or HPV-negative stage III/IVA, or stage III/IVA of the larynx, hypopharynx, or oral cavity, and your PD-L1 combined positive score is 1 or higher.
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have adequate organ function (bone marrow, liver, kidneys) as shown by blood tests.
- You are willing to provide a tissue sample (either from a previous biopsy or a new one) and allow use of leftover tissue from surgery for research.
- If female, you are either surgically sterile, postmenopausal, or using highly effective birth control during the study.
