Who can take part

  • You have Barrett's esophagus and are having an endoscopy for suspected early-stage esophageal cancer (T1).
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are willing to be randomly assigned to different follow-up schedules based on a biomarker test.
  • You have no other active cancer in your digestive tract (besides the esophageal lesion).
  • You do not have any serious health condition (like severe heart or lung disease) or bleeding risk that would make the procedure unsafe.
  • You have not had chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or radiation in the last 6 months.
