Extracranial Carotid Artery DiseaseTCARTranscarotid Artery Revascularization

Part of Brain & nervous system, Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study is testing a special system (ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection) used with a stent to treat narrowed carotid arteries, which can help prevent stroke. It looks at how well the system works in real medical settings.

A study of a new carotid artery stent system for Chinese patients

This trial tests a device that helps prevent strokes by opening blocked carotid arteries in the neck. It is for people who have had a recent stroke or TIA, or who have a high-grade blockage without symptoms.

NCT06653387Recruiting
Testing a new carotid stent with blood-flow reversal for high-risk patients

This trial tests a new carotid stent system used with a special blood-flow reversal device to treat blocked carotid arteries. It is for people with high-risk conditions who might not be good candidates for traditional open surgery, and aims to see if the stent is safe and effective in preventing strokes.

Procedure trial for blocked carotid artery to improve brain blood flow

This trial studies an endovascular procedure to reopen a chronically blocked carotid artery and improve blood flow to the brain. It also compares outcomes against standard care in part of the study, for people who show abnormal brain circulation on brain scans.

Track outcomes after carotid stent or surgery

This study follows people who need a procedure to treat narrowed carotid arteries, comparing results after either surgery (CEA) or a less invasive procedure (TCAR). It mainly looks at patient safety and outcomes, which can help improve future care.
