Depemokimab for adults and teens with type 2 asthma

This study tests a new medicine called depemokimab, given as an injection, to see if it can reduce asthma attacks in people with a specific type of asthma (type 2 high). If you have had asthma for several years and have had recent attacks despite using regular inhalers, this trial might be an option for you.

Who can take part

  • You must be 12 years or older.
  • You must have had asthma for at least 2 years.
  • You must have had at least 2 asthma attacks in the last 3 years, with at least 1 in the past year, despite using regular inhalers.
  • You must currently be using a low or medium dose of an inhaled corticosteroid/LABA combination inhaler (like a preventer inhaler).
  • You must have signs of type 2 asthma, such as high eosinophils (a type of white blood cell) in your blood, or a high FeNO level, or nasal polyps.
  • You must not be a current smoker, ex-smoker with a heavy smoking history, or a vaper.
