Who can take part
- Be a man aged 50 or older
- Have an enlarged prostate (BPH) and be scheduled for TURP surgery under spinal anesthesia
- Have no history of blood clots, stroke, or seizures
- Have normal or only mildly reduced kidney function
- Not be currently taking blood thinners that haven't been stopped before surgery (as directed by your doctor)
