Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • You have a spinal cord injury in the neck or upper back from a blunt or sharp object, like a car crash or knife wound.
  • You are awake and can follow simple commands.
  • You need a breathing machine (ventilator) to help you breathe.
  • You can start the oxygen treatment within 24 hours of your injury.
