Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • Your spinal cord injury happened 2 weeks to 6 months ago.
  • Your injury is either incomplete (some feeling or movement below the injury) or complete (no feeling or movement below the injury) and is between the C1 and T6 vertebrae.
  • Your overall health is stable enough for study participation, as confirmed by your doctor.
  • You do not have other neurologic conditions (like multiple sclerosis or stroke), severe infections, uncontrolled pain, or other serious health problems.
