Who can take part
- You have a spinal cord injury between the fourth neck bone (C4) and the fourth upper back bone (T4).
- You are admitted to a spinal injury ward within 24 to 48 hours of your injury.
- You are 18 years or older.
- You do not have a serious chest injury (like 3 or more broken ribs, a broken breastbone, or a lung injury).
- You have no conditions that would prevent using high-flow oxygen therapy (like a collapsed lung that isn't drained, broken facial bones, a skull base fracture, active nosebleed, or recent sinus surgery).
