Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 49 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with patellar tendinopathy (knee tendon pain) by a doctor or physiotherapist
  • You are a competitive athlete in a sport with lots of jumping or running (like basketball, volleyball, handball, or track)
  • You train at least three times a week
  • You have not had knee surgery in the past year
  • You have not taken any supplements in the past 3 months
  • You have not had any injections for your knee in the past year (like steroids or platelet-rich plasma)
  • You are a non-smoker
