This trial tests whether taking quercetin, a natural supplement, can help people with fibrotic interstitial lung diseases (a group of conditions that cause scarring in the lungs). If you have been diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) or another fibrotic ILD and are on standard treatments, you may be able to join.

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) or another fibrotic interstitial lung disease (ILD).
  • You are taking one of the standard treatments for lung scarring (nintedanib or pirfenidone) or other approved immunosuppressive therapy.
  • You have not been diagnosed with other lung diseases like asthma, as confirmed by a low FeNO test (a breath test that measures inflammation).
  • You are able to start taking quercetin within one week of your first study visit.
