Who can take part

  • You have Parkinson's disease with at least two of these: tremor, stiffness, slow movement, or symptoms starting on one side, and one of them must be tremor or slow movement.
  • You do not have unusual symptoms like early falls, confusion, hallucinations, or vision problems.
  • Your Parkinson's symptoms have improved with levodopa or similar medications, or you haven't had a proper trial of these drugs.
  • You have Alzheimer's disease confirmed by a positive amyloid PET scan or spinal fluid test.
  • You do not have other brain diseases like multiple sclerosis, ALS, or epilepsy.
  • You do not have a diagnosis of dementia (for Alzheimer's patients) or pre-existing psychiatric disorders.
