Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have peripheral artery disease (PAD) with symptoms like leg pain when walking, rest pain, or a leg wound
  • You have had a blocked leg artery (at least 50% narrowed) or low ankle blood pressure
  • You either have diabetes, heart failure, chronic kidney disease, or plaque in more than one artery area
  • You have not had a leg artery procedure in the last 6 weeks
  • You are not allergic to colchicine or iodine dye
