Gum Dressings for Non-Surgical Periodontal Treatment

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 45 years old and generally healthy.
  • You have been diagnosed with Stage 3, Grade A periodontitis (a specific type of gum disease).
  • You have at least 20 permanent teeth still in your mouth.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not smoke more than 10 cigarettes a day, and have not used antibiotics in the last 3 months or had gum treatment in the last year.
