Who can take part
- You have severe gum disease (stage III or IV, grade B-C) with at least one deep bone pocket (3 mm or more) in a molar or premolar area.
- You have completed the first phase of gum treatment (non-surgical cleaning) but still have remaining bone defects.
- Your mouth is generally healthy – no uncontrolled diabetes, recent heart attack or stroke, or bleeding disorders.
- You are not taking certain medications that affect bone or gum healing (like osteoporosis drugs, steroids, blood pressure medicines, chemotherapy, or antidepressants).
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you agree to maintain good oral hygiene (plaque and bleeding scores 20% or lower).
- You are 18 or older and willing to follow home care and complete the study procedures.
