Who can take part

  • You are between 12 and 17 years old.
  • You weigh at least 35 kilograms (77 pounds).
  • You have a confirmed diagnosis of homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (a severe inherited form of high cholesterol).
  • Your LDL cholesterol level is at least 116 mg/dL (3 mmol/L).
  • Your blood sugar (HbA1c) is 9.5% or lower.
  • You have not used certain other cholesterol-lowering drugs in the last few months.
