Who can take part
- You are 18 to 75 years old.
- You have chronic pancreatitis with poor digestion (low fecal elastase) and are on pancreatic enzyme pills but still have symptoms like belly pain, bloating, diarrhea, or weight loss.
- Or you had surgery to remove part of your pancreas for a tumor and now have poor digestion with ongoing gut symptoms.
- You are able to do the breath tests and give written consent.
- You have not used antibiotics, laxatives, probiotics, or prokinetic drugs in the last 4 weeks.
