Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have a broken arm, leg, or other limb bone that needs surgery to fix it (even if you have more than one break)
  • You can understand and speak English well enough to take part in the program
  • You do not have a serious brain injury, hearing or vision problems that would stop you from doing the mindfulness exercises
  • You are not currently in jail or prison
  • You have not completed a formal mindfulness course like MBSR or practiced mindfulness every day in the past
