Who can take part
- You are between 20 and 75 years old.
- You have persistent atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat that lasts more than a week).
- You have had your first catheter ablation procedure, and your heart rhythm returned to normal after it.
- Your left atrium (a heart chamber) is less than 5 cm wide.
- You have not had a stroke, heart attack, or other serious heart event in the last 3 months.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
- You have not had acupuncture for a heart condition in the last 3 months.
- You do not have severe health problems like cancer, kidney failure, liver disease, or severe anemia.
