Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 70 years old
- Have a current diagnosis of PTSD or alcohol use disorder, or be a healthy volunteer
- If you have alcohol use disorder, you must drink a certain amount regularly
- Cannot be taking certain medications like antidepressants or antipsychotics for the past 6 months
- No major medical conditions like heart, liver, or kidney disease (except high liver enzymes from alcohol use)
- No metal implants or devices that are not safe for MRI scans
