Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- Your average sitting systolic blood pressure is 140 mmHg or higher.
- You have been taking at least two blood pressure pills (including a water pill) at the highest dose you can handle for at least 4 weeks.
- Or you have been taking at least three blood pressure pills (including a water pill) at the highest dose you can handle for at least 4 weeks.
- Your blood pressure is not extremely high (below 180 mmHg systolic and 110 mmHg diastolic).
- Your kidneys work well enough (eGFR is 45 or higher) and your potassium level is between 3.5 and 5.0 mmol/L.
