Does keeping the posterior cruciate ligament help after knee replacement?

Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for a first-time robot-assisted total knee replacement.
  • Only one knee is being replaced.
  • You can fill out questionnaires about your health.
  • You are willing to come back for check-ups for 12 months after surgery.
  • You have not had surgery on your posterior cruciate ligament before.
  • You do not have a severe knee deformity (bowed leg more than 185 degrees) or severe stiffness.
