Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 27 or higher with weight-related health problems, or 35 or higher.
- You live in Paraguay and can attend regular visits in Asunción or the surrounding area.
- You are able to attend check-ups for 12 months.
- You do not have type 1 diabetes, severe kidney or liver disease, or a history of certain thyroid cancers.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you have not had bariatric surgery in the last year.
