Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have a type of head and neck cancer (squamous cell) that can be removed with surgery
- Your cancer is not in the nasopharynx, salivary glands, or thyroid
- You are in generally good health with adequate organ function (blood counts, liver, kidneys)
- You have not had certain prior cancer treatments or other cancers in the last 5 years
- You do not have an active autoimmune disease or severe drug allergies
