Who can take part

  • You are a competitive swimmer between 13 and 18 years old.
  • You have been swimming regularly for at least 2 years.
  • You currently train about 20 hours per week in the pool and 8 hours on land.
  • You are healthy enough to do swimming and breathing muscle training.
  • You do not have any heart, lung, nerve, or muscle problems that affect exercise.
  • You do not have a cold or chest infection right now, and you are not taking medicine that affects your breathing or exercise.
