Testing a new fluid drain method for normal pressure hydrocephalus

  • You are 60 years of age or older
  • You have symptoms that suggest you might have normal pressure hydrocephalus (a brain condition causing walking trouble, memory loss, or bladder control problems)
  • You are already scheduled for a lumbar drain trial (a temporary drain in your lower back) to see if you would benefit from a permanent shunt surgery
