  • You are between 18 and 45 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with preeclampsia
  • You are scheduled for a planned or semi-urgent cesarean section (Lucas category 3 or 4)
  • You are at least 28 weeks pregnant
  • You are in good enough health to be classified as ASA II or III
  • You can give written consent to participate
