Who can take part
- You must have IgA nephropathy confirmed by a kidney biopsy done within the last 10 years (or a new biopsy if you don't have that report).
- Your urine protein level must be at least 0.75 g/g on a 24-hour urine test.
- Your kidney function (eGFR) must be at least 30.
- You must be on a stable dose of an ACE inhibitor or ARB (or be unable to take them) for at least 90 days.
- You cannot have other causes of kidney disease, like diabetes-related kidney damage, or conditions like cirrhosis or HIV that cause secondary IgA nephropathy.
- You cannot be on dialysis or have had a kidney transplant.
