Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 45 years old.
  • You have been running for 1 to 3 years and live in Bogotá or nearby towns at 2,640 meters altitude.
  • If you are a man, your best 5K race time is between 25 and 40 minutes. If you are a woman, between 28 and 43 minutes.
  • You own a GPS device (like a running watch or phone GPS).
  • You do not have a chronic disease, do not smoke, do not drink alcohol, and have no muscle or bone injury.
  • You are willing to attend at least 90% of the training sessions.
