Who can take part

  • Your child must be 9 to 12 years old.
  • They need to have a posterior crossbite (back teeth that close inside the lower teeth) caused by a narrow upper jaw.
  • They cannot have had braces or other orthodontic treatment before.
  • They must have good oral hygiene and be able to cooperate with treatment.
  • No major problems with how the jaws line up from front to back or top to bottom.
