Who can take part

  • You are 19 years or older.
  • You have symptoms of PAD, like leg pain when walking that goes away with rest.
  • You can walk at least 2 blocks (about 200 meters) without needing to stop.
  • You have a low ankle-brachial index (0.90 or less) or confirmed narrowing of leg arteries, or you've had a procedure to open leg arteries.
  • You have not had any immune-suppressing treatments in the last 3 months.
  • You have not had a heart attack, stroke, or hospitalisation for chest pain or mini-stroke in the last 6 months.
