  • You are an adult with severe or profound hearing loss in both ears
  • You have not had a cochlear implant placed yet and are scheduled to get one
  • Your doctor has confirmed your inner ear (cochlea) is shaped normally before surgery
  • You do not have any major brain or nerve conditions like epilepsy or dementia
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
