Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- You have had a spinal cord injury for more than one year that is not getting worse.
- You have moderate to severe tightness in the muscles that bend your elbow and wrist (score of 1+ to 3 on the Modified Ashworth Scale).
- You are not taking blood thinners and have no recent infections or bleeding disorders.
- You have not changed your anti-spasticity medication in the last 3 months and are willing to stick with your current dose during the study.
- You have not had botulinum toxin injections in the arm in the last 6 months, or phenol or alcohol injections in the last 12 months.
