  • You are currently on a heart-lung bypass machine (ECLS or ECMO)
  • You have a wound at the place where the tube goes into your body
  • You do not have a serious skin condition in that area
  • Your blood clotting is not severely impaired
  • You are not receiving any other experimental wound treatments
