This trial tests a new medicine called HSK44459 for people with progressive pulmonary fibrosis (PPF). It aims to see if the drug can help slow lung damage and improve breathing. You may join if you are not taking certain other fibrosis drugs or have been on a stable dose for at least 12 weeks.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with progressive pulmonary fibrosis (not idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis).
  • You have not taken nintedanib or pirfenidone for at least 8 weeks, or you have been on a stable dose of one of them for at least 12 weeks.
  • Your lung function test (FVC) is at least 45% of what is expected for your age and height.
  • Your lung's ability to transfer oxygen (DLCO) is between 25% and 90% of the expected value.
