Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung adenocarcinoma that has an EGFR mutation (either exon 19 deletion or L858R).
- You have at least one brain metastasis that is causing symptoms, with 1 to 10 brain tumors that need higher radiation doses, and at least one tumor measures 10 mm or larger on a scan.
- You have not had any previous cancer treatment (like chemotherapy, radiation, or targeted therapy) for your lung cancer.
- Your overall health is good enough to perform daily activities (ECOG score 0-2) and your life expectancy is at least 12 weeks.
- Your organs (bone marrow, liver, kidneys, heart) are working well based on recent blood tests and an ultrasound.
