  • You must be 19 or older.
  • Your lung cancer must have a specific EGFR mutation (exon 19 deletion or L858R).
  • Your cancer must be locally advanced, recurrent, or metastatic (spread or come back).
  • You should be able to swallow pills.
  • You need to be in fairly good health overall, with no serious heart, lung, or liver problems.
