  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You had a traumatic brain injury in the last 24 hours
  • Your brain injury is considered moderate to severe (GCS score between 3 and 12)
  • You are expected to stay in the intensive care unit for more than 48 hours
  • You do not have any of the excluded medical conditions or treatments listed
