Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You had a mild or moderate head injury and were seen in the emergency room within 1 to 3 days after the injury.
  • Your CT scan showed a brain bruise (contusion), with or without shifting of brain structures.
  • Your non-invasive monitoring tests show at least two signs of increased pressure in the head.
  • Your injury may or may not involve other body injuries, but doctors expect you to survive more than 24 hours.
